Films about dogs: “A Dog Named Beethoven” – a classic for families
“Beethoven” from 1992 is a classic among dog and family films. In it, a St. Bernard puppy fleeing from animal catchers comes to the Newton family's house. Father George is not very enthusiastic about the new family member at first, but his wife and children Ryce, Ted and Emily prevail: the dog stays.
- He is christened Beethoven and grows into a stately, drooling St. Bernard weighing 90 kilograms.

“Air Bud: A Hero on Four Paws” touches hearts
“Air Bud” is a feature film from 1997 that touches the hearts of fans young and old. The film is about the little boy Josh Framm, who moves to the state of Washington with his mother and sister after the death of his father.
- He feels alone there and doesn't immediately make friends. Basketball is the only thing that cheers him up a little. One day he shoots a few baskets on an abandoned basketball court. There he meets a neglected and hungry golden retriever.
- After some initial hesitation, the dog and Josh play basketball together. Buddy, as Josh christens the four-legged friend, shows great talent. Soon both Josh and Buddy join the school's basketball team and become absolute favorites. But Buddy's old owner, a mean man who plays the clown at children's birthday parties, wants his dog back.
- After the success of the first film, several sequels followed, including “Air Bud 2 – Golden Receiver” and “Air Bud 3 – A Dog for All Balls”. Cartoon fun with “Scooby”
“Scooby-Doo” is one of the most successful American cartoon series. The most famous is the talking Great Dane Scooby-Doo with the four young detectives Fred Jones, Daphne Blake, Velma Dinkley and Norville “Shaggy” Rogers.
