Apex Legends: How to change language

If you want to change the language in the battle royale game “Apex Legends”, you cannot do this directly in the game settings.

How to change the language in “Apex Legends”

The Apex Legends game is installed in your system language by default. If you want to change this, you must proceed as follows:

  1. Open the EA app and log in with your details.
  2. If you have already installed the game, you must first uninstall it to change the language. To do this, select “Library” on the left side, then click on the three dots at the top right of the game and then click “Uninstall”.
  3. If the game has been uninstalled or you haven't installed it yet, you can now install “Apex Legends” and change the language directly. To do this, click on your library again and then on the download button at the bottom right of the game cover.
  4. The download options for “Apex Legends” open in a new window. Here you can not only specify the installation location, but also the language settings.
  5. Click on “Change” in the language settings area. Then press the drop-down menu and select your desired language. In addition to German and English, Arabic, Chinese (traditional and simplified), French, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Portuguese (Brazil), Russian, Spanish and Spanish (Mexico) are currently available.
  6. Once you have selected the language, confirm your selection with “OK”. You can then install “Apex Legends” as usual and enjoy the game in the other language. Unfortunately, there is currently no other option for changing the language afterwards.
