If your Pokémon is weakened in “Pokémon Go,” you should heal it. This is especially important during a battle so that it can regain its strength.
How to heal your Pokémon in “Pokémon Go”
Depending on the severity of the injuries, you can use either the “Potion” or the “Revive” in “Pokémon Go” to heal your Pokémon. We'll show you step by step how to proceed:
- Open Pokémon Go for Android or iOS and tap the Pokéball at the bottom.
- Then select the backpack with your items on the right.
- Tap on “Potion” or “Revive”. You will immediately receive an overview of the weakened Pokémon. Tip: The potion is suitable for injuries and replenishes the HP to 20. The revive, on the other hand, is intended for Pokémon that are unable to fight and revives them so that the maximum HP is replenished.
- Select the Pokémon you want to heal by tapping it. The process will be carried out immediately – and depending on how weak it was, it may now be ready to fight again. Otherwise, you can repeat the process again.
- If several Pokémon have suffered damage, you can easily revive or heal them all. To do this, simply tap the corresponding button below the Pokémon listed in the overview. This is particularly useful if several Pokémon have been injured in battle.
Other ways to heal in Pokémon Go
There are other ways you can heal your Pokémon.
- With a power-up, you can heal your Pokémon and not only increase its health points, but also its competition points (CP). You usually need a certain amount of stardust and candy to do this.
- You can also evolve your Pokémon. In this case, it will also be healed – even if you actually have to use the “Revive”. You usually need a specific number of candies for this. These must match the Pokémon's evolution family.
- Tip: Catching your Pokémon in “Pokémon Go” is easy with a portable device, so you don't have to constantly look at your phone.
