The bug Pokémon Heracross is an integral part of the second Pokémon generation, but is difficult to catch in Pokémon GO.
Catching Heracross in Pokémon GO
Heracross is a bug-type Pokémon. Therefore, you will generally find Heracross near forests or green areas. However, it still does not appear in Germany.
- This is because the Pokémon Kangaskhan, Tauros, Farenta, Mime, Corason and Heracross are regional Pokémon and do not spawn everywhere, but only in certain parts of the world. While Mime spawns in Europe, you will only find Heracross in South and Central America, the Caribbean and the southern part of the USA. The Pokémon cannot be caught in Germany and other parts of the world.
- You don't need to hope for eggs either. Heracross cannot hatch by walking.
- But you can get lucky if you take part in an event. At the Johto Tour 2022, for example, Heraborn could also be caught outside of its actual fishing area.
- There is a chance to encounter Heracross in the Mega Raid. This could be an opportunity for you to add Heracross to your Pokédex.
