In Pokémon Go, the avatar is both the player's character and face. It can be further customized after the first start.
Customize your avatar in Pokémon GO
In Pokémon GO, you have the opportunity to give your trainer avatar a new look in the game. Here's how:
- Log in to the app on your smartphone as usual and tap your trainer avatar on the left.
- There you will find the “Closet” option, marked with a coat hanger. Below that you will find the “Appearance” option, which you will select next.
- Now you can give your avatar different skin and hair colors as well as a different body type from a small menu. You can adjust the clothes such as jacket, pants and shoes directly in the closet.
- To save the change, return to the previous menu using the X. If the new avatar contains paid items, you can purchase them under the “Redeem” option.
