You can use the MAC address to find out the manufacturer of your computer.
Find out MAC address
You can usually find the MAC address on the network adapter. If this sticker is lost or unreadable, you can proceed as follows:
- Start the command prompt on your ComputerTo do this, press the key combination (Windows) + (R) and enter “cmd” in the text field. Confirm with “OK”.
- Enter “ipconfig /all” here and look for the “Physical Address” or “Physical Address” in the “Ethernet Adapter LAN Connection” section or under “Wireless LAN Adapter WLAN”. This is your MAC address.
Find manufacturer by MAC address
Once you have found the MAC address, you can use it to find out the manufacturer of your PC.
- Visit the website “dein-ip-check.de”.
- Enter your MAC address here.
- You will then receive the manufacturer of your computer.
