The memory of Google's Pixel 9 series smartphones cannot be expanded in the traditional way with a memory card.
Expanding the memory on the Google Pixel 9: These are your options
Many smartphones give you the option to expand the available storage space using a memory card.
- However, this is not an option with the Google Pixel 9, as the Pixel 9 series smartphones do not have a memory card slot and the memory cannot be expanded in this way.
- However, the Google Pixel 9 is offered with different storage capacities. You can choose between 128 GB, 256 GB, 512 GB and 1 TB. Depending on which Pixel 9 smartphone you have, the range varies in Germany.
- The Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold is not available in Germany in the 128 GB version. And the standard Google Pixel 9 model is not available in the 1 TB and 512 GB versions.
- Tipp: There is a special promotion for the Google Pixel 9 smartphones until September 5, 2024. If you buy a Google Pixel 9, a Google Pixel 9 Pro or a Google Pixel 9 Pro XL with 128 GB of storage, you will receive a free storage upgrade to 256 GB.
- Another option to expand storage space without an additional memory card: use Google's cloud. Since the free storage space is limited here too, it may be worth getting a Google One subscription to upload all your photos, videos, etc. to the cloud.
