Procreate is one of the most popular apps for digital drawing. In addition to the classic application for iPads, there is now also a version for the iPhone and a version for animation.
- The classic Procreate currently costs (as of September 2024) one-time payment of 15.99 eurosAfter that, there will be no additional subscriptions, price increases or anything else. Even if you delete the app, you can download it again for free as long as you use the same account.
- The iPhone version, called Procreate Pocket, currently costs 6.99 euros and is purchased under the same conditions. Procreate Dreams, the supplement aimed at digital art animation, is the latest addition to the Procreate universe and also costs a one-off fee of 22.99 euros.
- There is the option to purchase additional functions. This can be done via Procreate or via third-party providers and then added later. This includes, for example, additional pens, fonts or patterns that support digital art.
- There are also the necessary materials. To get the most out of Procreate, you need an iPad with the Apple Pencil, which you can then use to draw digitally in apps like Procreate.
