Restart Vodafone Easybox

Have you lost the instructions for your Vodafone Easybox and no longer know how to restart the Easybox? Then it's time for an answer.

Restart Vodafone Easybox via reset button

The simplest solution is to press the reset button on the Easybox. You will find this on the back, at the bottom right next to the power cable.

  1. Briefly press the reset button.
  2. Now all red lights for telephony, WLAN and DSL on the Easybox should go out, only the power indicator lights up red.
  3. All the lights will gradually come back on. Once all the lights are back on, all the features will work again. Please be patient for a few minutes.

Reset der Easybox

If the restart described above didn't help, you can try a reset. To do this, you need the router password and your WiFi network name.

  1. Reset via the Vodafone station user interface: Open the router menu using the IP address in the browser and enter your password. Then click on “Login”.
  2. Now click on “Status & Help” in the menu bar and then on “Restart” on the left. In the factory settings area, click on “Reset” and then “Apply”. The reset will now be carried out.
  3. Reset using the reset button: A quicker way is to use the reset button directly on the router.
  4. To do this, you need an unfolded paper clip, which you press into the reset button on the back of the Vodafone Station (for at least 10 seconds). The router will then reset. This can take up to an hour.
  5. Important: If you press the reset button for just 5 seconds, the router will simply reboot.
