Web.de: How to set up a permanent redirect

If you have several email addresses and don't want to constantly log into all of them, forwarding is very practical. You can also have your emails forwarded permanently at Web.de.

  1. Open your Web.de inbox.
  2. Click on “Settings” in the bottom left menu.
  3. In the navigation on the left under E-Mail, click on “Forwarding”.
  4. Select “forward permanently” here.
  5. Now enter the email address to which you want your messages to be forwarded. You also have the option of entering a second email address.
  6. If you would like your messages to continue to be saved in the Web.de inbox, check the box “Keep copies in the mailbox”.
  7. To save the changes, click the “save” button.
  8. You will now receive an email to the address provided for forwarding and must click on the activation link there for the permanent forwarding to work.

Disable forwarding at Web.de

If you no longer want the emails to be redirected, you must deactivate the forwarding again.

  • In the left navigation, go to “Forwarding”.
  • Now click on the “do not forward” field and confirm with “Save”.
