If you want to display the calendar week in Outlook's monthly view, you need to activate the option with just a few clicks.
Outlook from version 2010: Display calendar week
This is how the calendar week is displayed starting from Outlook 2010:
- Click on “File” in the menu bar at the top left.
- Then select “Options” at the bottom left.
- Click on “Calendar” in the menu on the left.
- Scroll down a bit until you reach the heading “Display Options”.
- Check the box next to “Show week numbers in the month view and in the date navigator” (see image). Then click “OK”.
Outlook 2003 and 2007: Display calendar week
To display the calendar week in older versions of Outlook, follow these steps:
- Click on the menu item “Tools” at the top left and select “Options”.
- Under the “Settings” tab, you will find the “Calendar Options” button next to the “Calendar” heading.
- Check the box next to “Show week numbers in the month view and in the date navigator” (see image).
- Close both windows by clicking “OK” in each case.
