If you want to set up Gmail on your iPhone, you don't have to go through much trouble. To do this, simply open the “Settings” app on your iPhone and scroll down until you reach the “Passwords & Accounts” menu item.
- Once you have selected the “Passwords & Accounts” item, tap the “Add Account” option. Then select “Google” from the list.
- You will be redirected to Google's login page. Enter your account email address or phone number and click Next.
- The system then asks for your password. Enter it correctly and then click on the “Next” button. If you have forgotten your password, that is not a problem. Simply create a new, secure password.
- Your account will now be added. Once the process is complete, you can open the “Mail” app and retrieve your messages.
- The synchronization of your contacts, calendar function and notes is automatically activated. Accordingly, you will be able to access various data from your iPhone in the future.
Add another email account to your iPhone – no problem!
If you don't want to access just one Gmail account on your iPhone, you can add additional accounts if you wish. This can be done in just a few steps, but offers you more freedom.
- Open the Gmail app on your iPhone. There you will find three horizontal bars at the top left of the app. Click on this.
- A new window will open. Scroll through the options until you reach “Settings”. There you will find the sub-item “Add Google account”.
- You now have the opportunity to create and create another email account of your own. Make sure your email address and password are spelled correctly.
- Finally, leave your name and finish the process. There is now an additional email account on your iPhone that you can access at any time.
