You can edit the Launchpad on your Mac or MacBook in just a few steps. For example, you can rearrange your installed programs.
Edit Launchpad on Mac: Here's how
In order to organize your installed programs clearly, there are different ones in the Launchpad Tools. You can create folders for programs or create multiple pages.
- Start the Launchpad by pressing the button (F4) Press on your keyboard or in the Dock Launchpad-Icon choose. Several functions are now available to you.
- If you want to change the position of a program icon, simply drag it with the mouse desired position. Other programs are automatically displaced.
- You can also view your programs on different pages Organize and create, for example, one page for office applications and one for games. To do this, select a program and drag the icon all the way to the right until a new, blank page appears. Drop the program there and add others if necessary.
- Folder You set up your programs by dragging one program onto another. A folder is created immediately. You can change its name by clicking on the given name.
- You add additional applications to the folders by dragging the icons onto them. The app will automatically go into the program folder integrated.
Edit Launchpad on Mac: Add and remove programs
The Mac launch pad also allows you to Applications add and to delete.
- If you download apps from the App Store, they will automatically added to launchpad. You don't have to do anything here.
- For programs that do not come from the App Store, you must add them yourself. To do this, move the program icon into the Finder. The application then belongs to the launchpad.
- If you want to remove applications from the Launchpad, open it. Then select the app you want, click on it with your mouse and hold down the left mouse button.
- Wait until all applications start closing move. After that the option Delete displayed in the form of an X symbol. By clicking on this you confirm the process.
- Notice: There are applications that you cannot remove from Launchpad. If this is the case, you will not see the X symbol.
