On Amazon, it's not easy to contact a marketplace seller if you have questions about an item. The function is a bit hidden.
How to contact Amazon Marketplace sellers after an order
There are numerous other providers on Amazon, the so-called marketplace sellers. If you have ordered something from them and have a question, you can contact them.
- Open the Amazon website and click “Account and Lists” on the right. If you are not logged in yet, please log in.
- Then click on “My Orders” and go to the Amazon Marketplace order.
- Click on “View Item” and then “Problem with Order”
- A chat assistant opens. From there, select the option that you want to contact a Marketplace seller. You have to click through something.
- You can write your message directly in the chat and it will be forwarded to the seller. You can also send text files, PDF files, Word documents and various types of images to the seller using “Attach Attachment”.
Contact Amazon Marketplace sellers before placing an order
If you haven't placed an order yet and still have a question, use another method to contact the Marketplace seller.
- Go to the product you want on Amazon and click on the seller's name.
- Then you will see the “Ask a question” option.
- Describe your concern to the chat assistant and your message will be forwarded directly to the seller.
