If you need templates for a letter, a greeting card or a form, you can download various template packages for free.
Open Office templates: You can find them here
You can easily download new templates via the program. So you have installed the templates directly in the Office program.
- First start Open Office and select the sheet with the green plus symbol in the menu. You can find it at the bottom.
- Your browser will then open and take you to the Open Office template area.
- Here you can choose from the main categories Business, Education and Private. But you also have the option to search for other categories such as ratings or creation date.
- Select a template to open the detailed view. If you like the template, you can download the template on “Download Template”.
- The format will download as a .ott file. This means you can continue working directly in Open Office.

If you don't want to download each template individually, template packages are an option.
- To enrich your standard templates with a little variation, you can choose a package with different templates.
