Contact Snapchat: How to reach support

You can contact Snapchat support via the website. If you can't find the solution via the FAQ, send a direct request.

Contact Snapchat: Quick and easy

If you have any problems, you can contact the Snapchat team. Please note that support response times may vary and there is no specified time frame in which you can expect a response. You may need to be patient until you receive a response from Snapchat.

  1. Go to the Snapchat support website.
  2. Here you may find the right answer to your question under frequently asked questions.
  3. If this is not the case, continue scrolling down. Under the FAQ, Snapchat asks the question: “Need to contact us?” Click on the “Contact Us” button.
  4. You can submit your request on the newly opened page. To do this, specify in the preselection which topic your problem relates to.
  5. Snapchat now follows some initial information with the option of further categories and possible answers to your relevant topic area.
  6. If you scroll further down, you can enter your username, email address and, if applicable, your mobile phone number and describe your problem. Then press the “Send” button. Your request has now been submitted.

Contacting Snapchat: Also possible via the app

In addition to contacting us via the support website, there is also the option of contacting us via the mobile phone app.

  1. Open the Snapchat app on your smartphone.
  2. Navigate to your profile by tapping your Bitmoji or the top left icon.
  3. Tap the Settings gear icon in the top right corner.
  4. Scroll down a little to the help or support section.
  5. Select “I need help” and then “Contact us” to see the available options.
  6. If the answers provided are not sufficient, you can describe your problem by providing your user name and email address and submit the support request.
