Calculate unemployment benefits online
If you have registered as unemployed and are entitled to unemployment benefit, you can have the amount of unemployment benefit calculated, but you must take various factors into account. The calculators below only give you a rough estimate of the amount. The result is not binding and may differ to a greater or lesser extent from the actual payout.
- On the brutto-netto-rechner.info website you must enter your monthly income, tax class, federal state, number of children and the year for which you want to apply for unemployment benefit I (see picture).
- The salary calculator works in a similar way, with which you can find out how much of your salary is left over and how high the share of taxes is.
- The Federal Employment Agency also provides a calculator under eServices for self-calculation of the amount of unemployment benefit. The program calculates the amount of unemployment benefit quickly and easily. However, you should only see the result here as a guide.
- You can also use the calculator provided on familienportal.de. By clicking on the calculation button, you will simply be redirected to the Federal Employment Agency website and use the calculator there.
- lohnsteuer-kompakt.de also provides a calculator. After entering the required information, calculate how much unemployment benefits you can expect to receive.
- There are numerous other portals that calculate the expected amount of unemployment benefit. However, you should never count on the calculated sum; for all computers it is always just an orientation value.
