Delete Ebay classified ad – step by step
Even though it's a great feeling when you sell your no-longer-used items on eBay classifieds, the inquiries via the portal can be quite annoying. So that you are no longer contacted with offers and inquiries regarding your item, you can simply delete your classified ad. The ad will then no longer be visible to other users of the classifieds portal.
- First, open the eBay Classifieds website in your browser. Alternatively, you can simply open your classifieds app.
- If you use the browser, you will find the “Login” option in the top right corner. Enter your registered email address and password here.
- You will then see the sub-item “Show” under the right menu item “My”. Your ads on eBay will be displayed in an overview there. Under the “Options” line you will find the “Delete” menu item for every classified ad. With one click your ad will now be removed.
- Alternatively, you can also select the “Reserve” option. In this way, other providers can see that there is already a potential buyer and that you are just waiting for payment, for example.
Ebay classifieds – increase sales opportunities
Once you've uploaded an item, you'll naturally want to sell it as quickly as possible. There are a few things you can do in advance to increase your chances of making a sale.
- Push article up: Use the option to push your ad up for a fee. This keeps your item visible and has a higher chance of being seen and purchased more quickly.
- Describe item accurately: A good description saves questions and makes sales easier. Describe exactly the condition, dimensions or size of the item. The title should also be meaningful. Meaningful photos also increase your chances of selling the item.
- Choose the right time: Remember that by the time you post your article, it will appear higher in search results. Think about when potential buyers are most likely to have time to look for bargains and list your items accordingly.
