The most important items in Pokémon GO are Pokeballs. There are different versions with different success rates for catching Pokémon.
- Pokeball: Right from the start, you get a few balls in Pokemon Go. You can then purchase these in Pokestops, arenas and in the Pokeshop for money.
- Superball: From level 12, you will automatically receive 20 Super Balls in your inventory. They are also rarely found in Pokestops and arenas.
- Hyperball: Once you reach level 20, Ultra Balls are added. These are also rarely found in Pokestops and arenas.
- Master Ball: The Master Ball is the rarest ball in Pokékom GO. No wonder, because if you use it, you will definitely catch the respective Pokémon.
Potions and revivers – keep your Pokemon fit with these items
In battles, your Pokemon may lose power points or be knocked out completely. There are potions and revivers to help the monster recover.
- Potion: From level 5 onwards you will receive potions that restore 20 HP. These can be obtained at level-ups, at Pokestops and arenas, and in the shop.
- Supertrank: A super potion restores 50 HP. This potion is rarely found in Pokestops and arenas.
- Hypertrank: This will give your Pokemon a total of 200 HP back. This one is also rarely available in Pokestops and arenas.
- Reviver: If your Pokemon loses all its HP, the only way to get it back on its feet is with a reviver. You can get these from level 5 onwards in Pokestops and arenas.
- Top revitalizers: Refills all of your Pokemon's HP after a lost battle. This is automatically added to your inventory from level 26 and is then rarely available in Pokestops and arenas.
With these items you can catch Pokemon more effectively
To make catching Pokemon easier, there are special items like berries and smoke.
- Rauch: At the beginning and when you level up, you will always get a smoke that attracts Pokemon. You can also buy a smoke in the shop.
- Berry: If you throw a berry to a Pokemon, it will be distracted and easier to catch. You can get the first berries from level 8, then with every level up. In the meantime, you can get the berries at Pokestops and in arenas. In addition to the well-known Razz Berries, there are also Pineapple Berries and Nanab Berries.
- Owner: There are Pokémon hidden inside that you can hatch with an egg incubator and leg strength. You can usually get eggs in Pokestops.
- Lucky Egg: A lucky egg gives you double XP for half an hour. Lucky eggs have only been seen in the shop so far. You also occasionally get one when you level up.
- Egg incubator: You get an incubator right from the start, and later when you level up. You can also buy additional incubators in the shop.
- Lockmodul: This item lures Pokémon towards a Pokestop for half an hour. You get a lure module from level 8 and then for further level-ups. The item is also available in the shop.
- Camera: You get these right at the start and can use them to photograph Pokémon.
