Every time you make a purchase on Amazon, you have the option to change the shipping address. This is no longer possible once an order has been placed.
Amazon: How to change your shipping address
Amazon is a popular online store where you can have packages delivered not only to your usual address, but also to other delivery addresses. Your shipping address can be easily changed as long as the order is still being processed.
- Open the “My Account” section on Amazon.
- Under “My Orders” click on “Order details” for the desired item.
- Click on “View or change order”.
- You will now see the originally planned shipping address and can update it by clicking “Change”. Enter your desired delivery address and confirm it. You may be asked to enter your password or account details again.
Change default address on Amazon
If you have moved and want to permanently change your delivery address on Amazon, proceed as follows:
- Log in to your Amazon account and click on “Account and Lists”.
- Go to “My Account” and “Addresses”.
- By clicking on the plus sign you can add a new delivery address and then set it as the default.
