Many platforms have a read receipt that shows whether the other person has already seen your message, but with Bumble it's not that easy.
Bumble doesn't have a classic read receipt
Anyone who is on Bumble either wants to find a flirt, true love or friends. As soon as two people have a match, i.e. express mutual interest, they can write to each other, but you cannot see whether the message has been read.
- On Bumble, women have to make the first move. If you've sent a message to your match, you're probably waiting anxiously for a response. If this takes a while, questions quickly arise as to whether the message has already been read.
- While on messengers like WhatsApp you can see whether your text has been received or read by checking the ticks, unfortunately there is no such read confirmation on Bumble.
- However, there is an indication that your chat partner has already seen your Bumble message: If a green dot lights up in the bottom corner of the profile picture, it means that the person is currently online. It is therefore very likely that your message has been read.
