Deleting a “like” or “like” on Facebook is relatively quick and can be done in just a few steps on your PC and smartphone.
Delete Facebook “likes” – this is how it works in your profile
Be it pages, people or places – you can delete all your likes in your profile:
- Open your personal Facebook profile by clicking on your name.
- Then switch to the “Info” tab.
- Under “Like” you will find all the pages that you have currently liked. Find the page in question here.
- To remove the “like” again, you must then move your mouse over the image on the page.
- A blue button will now appear that says “Like”. Click on it and select “Dislike” from the drop-down menu. Your like is now deleted.
Alternatively: remove “like” directly on the page
You don't necessarily have to delete your likes via your profile. If you already know which page you want to unlike, you can also do this:
- First open the desired page, for example via Facebook search.
- Now move your mouse over the “Like” button to open the drop-down menu.
- Click on “Dislike” here. Now your like is also removed.
