You need to find out the network key to access the router's WiFi. If you haven't changed it, you can find it on the back of the router.
Find out the network key: How to get it
If you have not changed the network key, you will find it on the back of your router. In some cases, you will also find it on a separate card from your provider. However, if you have changed the access code, you will only find the network key in your network. You can quickly find it on your PC.
- Click the Windows button at the bottom left and type “Control Panel”.
- Open the Control Panel and select “Network and Internet” > “Network Connections”.
- Right-click the connection you are currently using.
- Select Status and then Wireless Properties.
- Here you can now switch to the “Security” menu and by clicking on “Show characters” you can see the security key in plain text.
- Tip: If you click on “Details” instead of “Wireless Properties”, you will receive further information about your Internet connection.
