If you have forgotten your Apple ID security questions, you should not panic. There are a few things you can do to help yourself.
Forgot security questions on Apple ID – you can do that now
Use Apple ID security questions to add another level of security to your account. If you have forgotten the security questions, you should first remain calm. Because there is an Apple page where you can change the security questions.
- First, open the iForgot website in your internet browser. The website is a page provided by Apple to quickly fix the problem of forgotten Apple ID security questions. You can access the website on your iPhone or your computer.
- If the page opens, click on “Reset password”. Then enter your personal Apple ID. Then click “Next”.
- Now select the “Reset security questions” tab. Then click “Continue”. Now enter your Apple ID and the associated password again. Select “Next.”
- Now let Apple verify your identity. To do this, follow the website instructions. This prevents your Apple ID from being used by an unauthorized person.
- You now have the option to select a new security question and a new answer for your Apple ID. Once you have created the security question and the answer, click “Next”. This will save your new information and use the new security question for your Apple ID in the future.
Have your Apple ID reset via customer support
If you have not provided an email address for recovery, you can only contact customer service by telephone.
- To do this, go to Apple's support page. Enter your request in the search field. A short statement such as “forgot security question” is enough. Confirm your entry with the Enter key.
- Scroll to the bottom of the website. Below the “Contact” field there is a field called “chat with us”. Select the box to speak to an Apple customer support representative directly to explain the issue.
