- The Vespucci Beach Police Station is a typical police helicopter location. Most of the time you will find a Buzzard or a Maverick here, both ideal for quick flights over the city.
- At military bases, such as Fort Zancudo, you have a chance to find heavily armed helicopters, including the famous P-996 Lazer. However, you should be careful when entering the military base, as you may quickly encounter resistance.
- If you're looking for a challenge, you can try a military helicopter. You'll find it in the very south at the harbor. It's best to take a taxi there, otherwise you'll come under fire on the way there. If you get out of the taxi, you'll immediately have 4 wanted stars. Get into the helicopter and escape.
