If you want to display a photo of callers on your iPhone, you have to assign them a picture. You can add a new picture or take one from the gallery.

If contact pictures are only displayed in a small version in the top right corner during a call, these are pictures that were synchronized via iCloud, for example. To display the contact pictures in a large format, follow these instructions:
- Open the Contacts app on your iPhone.
- Select the desired contact and click on the “Edit” button at the top right.
- Press the square “Add photo” box at the top left.
- Now you can select a picture from the gallery or take a new one directly.
- Select a picture or take a new photo. Then click on the “Done” button at the top right. If the contact calls you, not only their name but also their picture will appear.
