- In Pokémon Emerald Rogue, the game world is not predetermined. In concrete terms, this means that the game world, including locations and trainers, is randomly generated in each run. The top four also vary from run to run.
- All routes, encounters and items are also randomly selected based on the gamer's progress in the respective run. What is guaranteed, however, is that after a certain number of routes you will encounter a random leader.
- This leader has a team of a certain type, also randomly selected. - The run is complete for you when you make it to the champion and defeat him. When you finish or abandon a run, you return to the hub area mentioned above. There you can buy items and catch new “starter” Pokémon that you can then use in the next run.
- You can imagine the hub as a place of retreat with buildings like the market and various NPCs. The selection in the market increases as you progress. There is also a Safari Zone.
