First, you need to stop the Print Spooler service.

  • Use (Win) + (R) to open the dialog for running programs. You can also find “Run” via the Windows start menu.
  • Type “services.msc” to view the PC's services.
  • Right-click on the “Print Spooler” service and click “Stop”.
  • Then delete the file to be printed from the temporary printer memory. To do this, open the path in Explorer: C:\WINDOWS\system32\spool\PRINTERS and delete the files in the folder.

Finally, start the Print Spooler service.

  • To do this, open the Windows services as described above by entering the command “services.msc” via “Run” in the start menu or the key combination (Win) + (R).
  • After right-clicking on the “Print Spooler” service, click “Start”.
