If you want or need to remove the sound from a YouTube video, stop by your studio.
How to remove the sound from your YouTube video
You may not be allowed to play certain music or sounds in your video due to copyright infringement.
- Open the YouTube website, click on your account in the top right corner and select “YouTube Studio”.
- Find the video you want and click the “Edit” button.
- Go to the “Audio” category at the top, scroll down and click “Remove Title”. This will delete the audio completely.
- Alternatively, you can select any song on the right side, which will then be placed over your video.
- Note: Deleting the audio track only works if your video has already been blocked by YouTube.
