Setting up GMX in Outlook
Newer email programs will help you set up your accounts. The data for IMAP, POP3 or SMTP servers will be retrieved automatically. Start first Microsoft Outlook.
- About the tab “file” will take you to your account information. Click on the button “Add Account“.
- In the next window, enter a Names for your GMX account. Enter your login details. At GMX, the user name is always your complete email address. Now click on “OK“.
- In the following window, Outlook checks your login details and retrieves the required server information. Once this has been completed successfully, click “Finish“.
- To Confirmation you will receive a Testnachricht. This was sent during the automatic configuration. Your GMX email account has been successfully set up.
- You can now send and receive your emails via Outlook.
