Setting up multiple Googlemail accounts under one name - is that possible?

If you want to set up multiple Googlemail accounts under one name, this is not directly possible. However, there is an alternative way.

Set up multiple Googlemail accounts under one name: Linking multiple accounts

Setting up multiple Googlemail accounts under the same name is not possible directly. However, you can set up a second Google account and link it to your first one! If you link your Google accounts, you won't be able to manage multiple email addresses in one interface, but you will be able to switch back and forth between multiple accounts very quickly. Proceed as follows:

  1. Click on your email address in the top right corner of the screen and then click “Add Account”.
  2. Now log in with the details of your second account that you registered under the same name. From now on, this will appear for both accounts when you click on your email in the top right corner.
  3. Now you can easily switch between both email accounts. You don't have to log in again or open a new tab.
  4. Alternatively, you can create separate user profiles in Chrome to manage multiple Gmail accounts at once. This way, you can open one Gmail account in one profile and the other in a second profile and use them in parallel.
  5. If you don't already have a second user profile in Google Chrome, you can easily set up a second profile. To do this, log into your Gmail account in Chrome, which will create a new profile. Once there, click on your profile icon in the top right corner, then click “Add” under the “Other Profiles” section.
