Show calendar week in Outlook

If you want to display the calendar week in Outlook's monthly view, you need to activate the option with just a few clicks.

Outlook from version 2010: Display calendar week

This is how the calendar week is displayed starting from Outlook 2010:

  1. Click on “File” in the menu bar at the top left.
  2. Then select “Options” at the bottom left.
  3. Click on “Calendar” in the menu on the left.
  4. Scroll down a bit until you reach the heading “Display Options”.
  5. Check the box next to “Show week numbers in the month view and in the date navigator” (see image). Then click “OK”.

Outlook 2003 and 2007: Display calendar week

To display the calendar week in older versions of Outlook, follow these steps:

  1. Click on the menu item “Tools” at the top left and select “Options”.
  2. Under the “Settings” tab, you will find the “Calendar Options” button next to the “Calendar” heading.
  3. Check the box next to “Show week numbers in the month view and in the date navigator” (see image).
  4. Close both windows by clicking “OK” in each case.
