Snapchat: Edit shortcut - Here's how

You can edit a Snapchat shortcut via the settings. There you can then change your desired quick access options.

Edit Snapchat shortcut: procedure

By editing a Snapchat shortcut, you change your quick access to certain features or contacts. The quick accesses are individually customizable. Thanks to this, you have direct access to certain functions and contacts without having to click through the app's applications.

  1. In order to edit the Snapchat shortcut on your iPhone or Android, you need to go to your profile in the Snapchat app. To do this, start the app on your cell phone.
  2. Now tap on your profile picture or the Bitmoji in the top left corner to open your profile.
  3. Use the gear icon in the right corner to open Settings.
  4. Scroll down a bit to “Manage Shortcuts” and click it.
  5. Now select the shortcut you want to edit or remove or delete. You can also easily add features or contacts as new shortcuts using the plus icon. However, the number of links is limited.
  6. Extra tips: If you use appropriate emojis for the respective links, you will recognize them more quickly. Additionally, you can order the links in the collection. Bring the most important ones to the beginning.

Create Shortcut for Snaps: Another option

You can also make it easier to send snaps to friends using a corresponding link under “Send to”. With this link you can share pictures or videos, for example of the craziest travel destinations in Germany, with a specific group of friends.

  1. Take a snap (photo/video) with your camera on your smartphone and tap “Send to”.
  2. Go to the search bar and further to “Create Shortcut”.
  3. Now you can select the contacts you want to add as a shortcut. Now choose an emoji for this shortcut.
  4. Then confirm with “Create shortcut”.
