- The Offline Backup feature automatically creates a playlist based on your recently streamed and queued songs. This playlist is tailored to you as it uses tracks already in your Spotify-Cache are stored. This means that songs you streamed during your recent listening sessions will still be available – without downloading.
- Particularly practical: you can use the offline backup playlist Filter and sort by artists, moods or genresdepending on what you feel like doing at the moment. This playlist is constantly updated and will evolve with your music tastes the more you listen. So you always have a fresh selection of music, no matter where you are.
How to use the offline backup function
The new feature is convenient and can make your life a little easier, whether you're on a plane, on a long car ride, or just don't want to use up mobile data on the go.
- To use the offline backup feature, you must ensure that you have listened to at least five songs recently and that the Offline playback enabled in settings is.
