What awaits you in Star Wars Outlaws

Star Wars Outlaws tells the story of the villain Kay and her alien friend and companion Nix. Unlike in Star Wars: Jedi Survivor, Kay has no Jedi abilities, let alone a lightsaber to rely on.

  • The action adventure is about Kay carrying out a raid in the Outer Rim and making a name for herself as a villain. You will encounter previously known and unknown characters from the Star Wars universe as well as a variety of locations on several planets to explore.
  • On your journey, you complete jobs for various crime syndicates and rise or fall in their favor depending on how you perform and the decisions you make along the way. Good relationships, for example, enable better jobs and cheaper prices when you buy from the syndicate. One of the most well-known syndicates is the Hutt Cartel, which is led by Jabba the Hutt.
  • Each planet has open world areas in which you can move freely and explore either on foot or with your glider. Each of them has a different biome. For example, there is the jungle planet Akiva or the savannah-like moon Toshara. In total, there are five different planets or moons that you can travel to.
  • In addition to planetary excursions on your glider, you also have access to Kay's spaceship to travel around in space. There you will find space stations with NPCs and side quests as well as other events and locations. The ship is also equipped with weapons so that you can defend yourself in ship battles.
  • In addition to the reputation system of the syndicates, there is also a “Wanted” mechanism of the Empire. If you have been particularly conspicuous for various crimes on your travels through the Outer Rim, then you will be wanted, pursued and attacked by the Empire, similar to GTA V, for example.
  • When it comes to battle, Kay defends herself with her blaster or deals out a lot of damage in close combat. Her companion Nix supports her, for example, by using diversionary tactics or sabotaging electronics to throw enemies off her trail. In addition to action-packed battles, you also have the option of reaching your goal by sneaking. In this case, enemies can be knocked out silently without causing a commotion.
  • Kay's equipment can be upgraded over the course of the game. The glider, spaceship and pistol all receive improvements and are expanded with additional functions.
