Xing offers premium members a number of benefits such as extensive statistics and partner offers. But can the service also be used for free?
Xing Premium – no free use possible
In principle, you can use Xing's services free of charge. For example, there are no costs for you when you search for new jobs, network with other people or get application tips. As a premium member, you enjoy additional benefits, but these are optional and subject to payment.
- With a paid premium membership, you get some additional features and are thus easier to find by employers, for example. You can also find out who has visited your profile.
- Unfortunately, Xing Premium is not free to use. You must therefore take out a paid subscription. The monthly costs vary depending on the membership term you choose.
- Officially, Xing does not offer a free trial period for the premium subscription. In the past, however, some users were able to try out the premium service for free for 30 days after asking support for a one-month trial period. The best way to reach Xing support is via the contact form.
- If you would like to try out Xing Premium at the lowest possible cost, you can take out a three-month subscription. After that, your membership can be canceled on a monthly basis.
- Many functions are now available to users without prior registration. These include job searches, company recommendations and the option to send an application with just a few clicks. You can also add interesting jobs to a watchlist.
- However, free registration with Xing does have its advantages. With a user account, you get a professional profile and can contact other users and exchange ideas in groups. In addition, your saved jobs are automatically deleted after two weeks without an account.
Xing ProJobs further extends Xing Premium
If you want to further improve your career opportunities, you should take a closer look at Xing Projobs. With ProJobs you get even more features than with the premium subscription.
- ProJobs includes a free photo shoot for your own application photo. Professionals will also help you create your CV and cover letter.
- Another advantage: You will be highlighted in the searches of headhunters and recruiters. You will also receive access to webinars, specialist literature and coaching.
- Like the premium subscription, ProJobs is also offered with different terms. After the first term, monthly cancellation is possible.
- ProJobs cannot be used for free. There is also no free trial period in which you can try out the ProJobs-exclusive features.
