Warhammer 40000: Space Marine 2 is the latest installment in the Warhammer 40000 games, where you can prepare for epic firefights. The Crossplay Function is an important part of the action.
- Crossplay is on all platforms This means that console and PC gamers can join forces to fight against the Tyranids from the Warhammer 40,000 universe, regardless of their preferred system.
- PC gamers can access the Steam– or Epic Games-Version A disk version of the game is not available.
- For the consoles, the Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5 supported. It is a pure next-gen title.
- Important: The crossplay function will only be available after completing the in-game tutorial and after you have Captain Acheran and reached Kadaku. If necessary, you can also skip the tutorial via the menu.

- To do this, go to the main menu and select Settings and there to Spiel. In the tab network you will find the Crossplay function. If it is not active, set it to An.
- You can then purchase your Edit squadThere you can invite three more players who will then become part of your squad.
- Play all on the same platformsimply invite them via your friends list. You can do this directly via the Squad menu.
- If you are playing on other platforms, you can use the randomly generated code which is displayed to you when you click on the key icon while editing the squad. You can also use the code to join other squads.
- The code is then entered and access to the squad is immediate. Afterwards you can Operations-Modi and campaign Play together across platforms.
- Danger: The 6v6 multiplayer mode Eternal War has limited cross-play capability. PC players can only enjoy the larger battles among themselves, while Xbox and PlayStation owners can play together.
