WhatsApp stickers can be easily deleted in just a few steps. Just keep a few important tips in mind.
Delete WhatsApp stickers on Android
WhatsApp is an instant messenger that allows you to send and receive messages. Various emojis help you add small symbols to your text messages. In addition to emojis, there are also stickers that you can send via WhatsApp.
- If you want to delete a sticker, first open the WhatsApp app. Tap on any chat history with another person or in a group and open the text field.
- Now tap on the smiley icon and then open the stickers. To delete the stickers from your favorites, press and hold the selected sticker for a few seconds and then select the “Remove” option.
- To permanently delete a sticker, further steps are necessary. On the right side of the stickers there is an icon with which you can view all stickers and your personal stickers. To remove your personal stickers, open the “My Stickers” option.
- In this section you can see your personally created or downloaded stickers. Next to the sticker sets there is a delete icon. If you tap this icon, the option “Remove sticker?” will appear. Select “Remove” to delete the sticker.
How to delete WhatsApp stickers on iOS
The WhatsApp app can be used not only on Android mobile devices, but also on mobile devices with iOS. You can also delete the stickers on these devices with just a few taps.
- To remove stickers, first open the WhatsApp app on your mobile device. Now select a group or individual chat and tap on the text field. If you then tap on the smiley symbol and open the stickers, you can delete the selected stickers here.
- If you want to remove a sticker from the favorites bar, you can do so in just a few steps. Press and hold the selected sticker for a few seconds and then select the option “Remove from favorites”. The sticker will not be deleted, but will no longer be listed in the “Recent” category.
- To permanently delete a sticker, further steps are necessary. To do this, tap the right icon next to the stickers to see all available stickers. Select the “My Stickers” option and tap the trash can icon. Select the “Delete” option to permanently remove the stickers.
