The popular WoW arsenal is no longer that easy to find. You can now search for characters using the website's search function.
Find your own character in the WoW arsenal
If you want to check out your own character in the WoW arsenal, all you have to do is go to the official website.
- Visit the official World of Warcraft website and log in. If you have forgotten your World of Warcraft password, you can reset it in no time.
- You will now see your character's name in the top right. If you have more than one character and want information about one that is not currently selected, click on the small arrow next to the name. A dropdown menu will open that lists all the characters on this account. You also have quick access options for auctions and events here.
- If you cannot find your main character, click on “Manage characters”. There you can determine which of your WoW heroes appear in the selection list.
Find other players' characters using the WoW search function
If you want to find other players' characters, you can do so using the search function on the WoW website. You can find the search field using the magnifying glass symbol to the left of your character name at the top of the screen. Please note, however, that only characters from the retail version of WoW are stored. There is no arsenal for characters from World of Warcraft Classic.
- Simply enter the character you are looking for in the line and you will get a list of everything that can be found in World of Warcraft. In addition to other search results such as forum posts or items, you will see the WoW characters item at the top, under which the three strongest characters with the name you are looking for are usually displayed.
- Please note that depending on the language version of the website, different search results or characters are displayed. Why this is the case is anyone's guess. So if you cannot find the character you are looking for using the German website, it is worth trying the search again on the English website.
- The Simple Armory offers an alternative. The site offers a reduced view of the WoW arsenal. As soon as you open the site, you are asked to select a realm and the name of a character. Then click on “Go” to start the search. If the search was successful, you will be presented with highly summarized information about the character in the form of progress bars.
- By clicking on the respective progress bar of a category you can see all the achievements you have already received.
- There is also an “Armory profile” option on the character's profile picture in the top right, which will take you to the character's official WoW arsenal.
