How long an Airtag lasts: At least one year
Apple states that the minimum battery life of Airtags is one year. However, how long an Airtag lasts in individual cases depends on how often you use your Airtag.
- The minimum battery life refers to the gadget being used four times a day, i.e. making a sound.
- If you use your Airtag more often, the estimated lifespan will be shortened accordingly. If you use it less often, the tool will probably last longer.
- By the way: Airtags are powered by a CR2032 battery. If the battery is empty, you can replace it yourself.
