Transfer videos from iPhone to PC

If you want to transfer your videos from your iPhone to your PC, you don't necessarily need iTunes or other software. A USB cable is enough.

Transfer videos and images from iPhone to PC

Easily transfer your videos and photos to your PC using the photos app. All you need is a USB cable. Once the digital content has arrived and saved in iCloud, you can access the videos and photos from all your devices.

  1. Connect your iPhone to your computer using a USB cable.
  2. In most cases, after a short while a window will open saying “Autoplay”. From there, click on the “Open device to view files” option to access the iPhone.
  3. Alternatively, if the window does not appear, you can press the “Windows” and “E” keys at the same time so that the “Computer” opens. There you can open your iPhone with a double click under “Portable Devices”.
  4. It's even easier if you open the Photos app on your computer.
  5. After starting, you will see all the videos and photos you have taken under “Import”. If “Import” does not open automatically, first find your device in the app’s sidebar and click on it.
  6. You may be asked to unlock your Apple device with a code. A message may also appear telling you to trust the computer. In this case, tap “Trust” and continue with the process.
  7. Then choose where you want to transfer your videos or photos. To do this, select an existing album or create a new album.
  8. Then import the selected video or photo or several by clicking “Import Selected” or “Import All New Photos.”
